Alex Snotherly

Born and raised right here in Raleigh, NC. I am married and have two daughters that I continue to learn with and admire greatly. I have lived and worked in Charlotte and Old Saybrook, CT. I graduated from East Carolina University with a BS in Urban and Regional Planning. I like to run and completed several  1/2 marathons. I have completed a Spartan Race. That likely is my last also. I like to work with my hands, building and tear things up…..especially construction-related. I also enjoy hot yoga, and of course spending time with my wife and dog. I think the hot yoga practice might seem “peculiar” to some especially if you have never tried it. I mean you are intentionally in a place where you sweat more than you can imagine. Another fact about me is that I am a Guardian Ad Litem volunteer supporting youth in Foster Care!

I have a decade of experience in the insurance industry including 8 years of service with Snotherly Insurance. I initially began my career selling life insurance & health insurance before making moving to Snotherly Insurance. I currently specialize in Commercial/Business Insurance for our agency. I enjoy the opportunity to work alongside business leaders in our community to not only protect their assets appropriately but also to assist them in keeping their insurance cost down so that their businesses may receive more profit and therefore grow and thrive.

I was born & raised in Raleigh, North Carolina (same city as our insurance agency). While finishing my degree, I served as manager for 2 local established restaurants in the community which allowed me access to understanding Liability, Workers Compensation & the restaurant exposures that many business owners encounter daily. Dogs, Music & Fitness. My passions outside of business & insurance include playing with & training my Australian Shepherd, (named Jax), playing music (I play guitar, drums & piano) and I do strive to exercise almost daily. I enjoy spending time playing music as well as traveling to new places when I have the down time. I have performed as a local DJ since in College and have performed events and parties for many celebrities and been featured on the TV Show “Say Yes to the Dress”

I have very little spare time, but do try to donate monetarily on a regular basis to the local SPCA Dog shelter, as well as the Food Bank of North Carolina and St. Jude’s Children Hospital as these are all non profits that I care about.

I was licensed in 1992 and have enjoyed many years in the business helping others protect what’s important to them. I owned my own Agency for 20 years. I enjoy explaining insurance to my clients. It sounds basic but I find that most people just don’t understand how it works. I take the time to break it down so it makes sense.

I grew up just outside of the Triangle in Guilford County but headed East to UNCW where I graduated with a degree in Economics. After College I moved to Raleigh and have loved my many years here in the Capital City. I was recently married and I enjoy traveling and spending time with my children. I like to spend most of my free time in front of the TV catching up on my favorite series. I love to cook and pair wines with my dinners.

I have been a Licensed Sales and Service Representative with the Snotherly Insurance Agency since 2010. I’m very familiar with our clients and do my best to advise them based on their insurance needs. Here at the Snotherly Agency we always have our client’s best interest at heart. I also am the Sales and Service Representative for our Latino clients as I am bilingual; fluent in English and Spanish.
I am originally from South America, grew up in South Florida and have been in North Carolina since 2006. Between my husband and I, we have 5 children so there is never a dull moment in our house! My ideal weekend would be doing something fun with our kids and a nice dinner out with my husband and our closest friends. I also love traveling, especially to the Caribbean!

I have a Degree in Risk Management and Insurance Appalachian State University. I handle both commercial and personal insurance, and have 3 years experience on the agency side. I love giving business-owners, homeowners, friends, and family the peace of mind that they have the best, and hardest working agent in the industry. I love solving problems, and dealing with new things every day.

Born and raised in Raleigh, NC. I lived in Boone, NC and attended Appalachian State University. I also love the outdoors, especially snowboarding, hiking, and being on the water. I love being in the mountains, beach, or the lake. The mountains have a very special place in my heart, and I also love spending time at the beach or lake. I love to cook, food is a huge passion of mine and I cook just about every meal of the week!

I have been on a building mission trip to Peru and helped with construction and caring for children.

I grew up in Hurt, Virginia, and moved to the Raleigh area in 1980. I really enjoy spending time with my family when they have free time and spending time with our 3 dogs. I enjoy spending time at home.

I grew up in Guatemala and moved to the US while I was in High School. After High School, I attended and graduated from the Music Institute. I really enjoy music and sharing My Miracles with others. I spend time with my family and my church family. I love music and singing.

I am very interested in helping kidney transplant patients at UNC Hospitals.

I grew up in Seabrook, Maryland where I graduated from High school in 1984. I enjoy my days off catching up on Pure Flix. I enjoy checking out the community yard sales and searching for a good deal.

I grew up in North Raleigh. I am a graduate of East Carolina University. I really enjoy talking about Insurance and Sports. I love coaching youth sports in our community. I thrive and have a specialty in placing unusual and high-risk insurance needs for our customers.

I have been with The Snotherly Agency for over 17 years. I love educating and advising so that my clients have the products that best meet their needs. My work team is my second family!

I was raised here in Raleigh from the age of 2. I attended Enloe Magnet HS and North Carolina State University. My husband of 36 years was raised a Duke fan, so I am a fan of both Duke and State.

Grandbabies! Since we had 5 children, we’ve been given lots of grandbabies! We have 12 ranging in age from 13 to newborn. My perfect weekend would involve playing with the grandbabies, having coffee with a friend, and dinner out with our close friends. I love chocolate chip cookie dough; I love to sing!

Our family is passionate about foster care and adoption.

I grew up in Garner, NC. Right now I am currently in Community College to get my Associates degree.

I help Delta airlines, RDU out when they have activities. One year I helped with Kaboom, which we helped build a playground. Another time I helped with Sound the Alarm, and I try to make my self available to help when Delta, RDU do blood drives.

I started in the insurance industry ages ago…back in 1990! What excites me most about my career with Snotherly Insurance is that with each client, I have the opportunity to partner with them to protect their assets and help make their dreams a reality. Every team member we have contributes their individual, exceptional talent and that makes us an awesome “team”.

I was born and raised in Upstate NY. In 1989 I relocated to NC and have made NC my home away from home. I enjoy laughing, reading, music, and spending time with my (adult) children and grandson. You will often find me perfecting my practice at the Dojang (Taekwondo) or a yoga studio.

Ben Snotherly

I am a Raleigh native. I have been a licensed Property & Casualty and Life insurance agent since 2020. The thing that motivates me in the workplace is being able to connect with and help the community that has had such a strong impact on my life. I find excitement in the ability to competitively rate and insure all that need insurance services.

I attended Athens Drive High School and North Carolina State University. During my personal time, I enjoy watching sporting events. I love N.C. State, the Carolina Panthers, and the Atlanta Braves. Something my customers might not know about me is my guilty pleasure is soda, Mountain Dew to be specific. I spend my free time watching sports or relaxing with my wife, our golden retriever, and two cats. We are expecting our first child, Easton, in July/August of 2021. My wife and I attend Hope Community Church, where she sings, and we do our best to donate when we can!
